किरण राव की फिल्म “लापता लेडीज” को ऑस्कर 2025 के लिए भारत की आधिकारिक प्रविष्टि के रूप में चुना गया है। यह घोषणा सोमवार को फिल्म फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया के अध्यक्ष जाह्नु बरुआ ने की।

प्रतियोगिता में कौन-कौन सी फिल्में थीं?

“लापता लेडीज” को 12 हिंदी, 6 तमिल और 4 मलयालम फिल्मों में से चुना गया। इस फिल्म ने 29 अन्य फिल्मों के साथ प्रतिस्पर्धा की, जिनमें “एनिमल, किल, कल्कि 2898 ईस्वी और आट्टम” शामिल हैं।

फिल्म की कहानी और विशेषताएँ

“लापता लेडीज” यह दो दुल्हनों की दिल को छू लेने वाली कहानी है जो एक ट्रेन यात्रा के दौरान गलती से बदल जाती हैं। फिल्म में नितांशी गोयल, प्रतिभा रांटा, स्पर्श श्रीवास्तव, रवि किशन और छाया कदम ने मुख्य भूमिकाएँ निभाई हैं।

किरण राव ने कहा, “अगर यह (ऑस्कर में) जाती है, तो मेरा सपना पूरा हो जाएगा।” उन्होंने बताया कि दर्शकों की प्रतिक्रिया उनके लिए सबसे बड़ी प्रशंसा है। “लापता लेडीज” 4 अक्टूबर, 2024 से जापान में भी रिलीज होगी, जिसे लेकर किरण राव ने उत्साह व्यक्त किया है।

ऑस्कर क्या है?
